This year United Way is so thankful to have Sean and Kristi Melmer as the 2022-2023 Campaign Chairs. The United Way chairs are responsible for speaking at events, advocating for the Untied Way mission, volunteering with United Way and are typically current supporters of the United Way. These individuals are recommended by board members, agencies and other community members to be the face of the campaign and are secured by the previous chairs. Sean has been involved since his last employer where they hosted the largest of the United Way campaigns. There he learned all that United way does, the agencies supported by his gift and impacted his students in a past life as a teacher. From there he become a Loaned Executive volunteer who rallied at businesses to give towards their local United Way. Kristi has supported United Way as an HR professional helping others carry out their pledges to United Way every day at work. In addition, their children have enjoyed multiple United Way programs like the Zoo education outreach with Lake Area Zoological Society, books through the Imagination Library, and tee ball with the Parks and Rec Youth Softball/Baseball program. United Way is thankful to all our past chairs and especially 2021-2022 Chairs Matt and Molly Lindgren for helping secure the Melmers for the 2022-2023 Campaign. Thank you to the Lindgrens for all your help last year! This campaign be n the look out for Sean or Kristi as they will speak to businesses, community groups and services groups at rallies.

For tax season all you will need is your W2 for proof of this charitable contribution.
If you are PRN, Seasonal or do not work regularly scheduled hours, then making a reoccurring online payment may be better for you. Click on the online donation tab on this Brown Clinic page to learn more.
You can give online one time or setup a reoccurring gift with a credit/debit card at GIVE TODAY. CHANGE TOMORROW. | Watertown Area United Way (watertownunitedway.org).
Online donations are secure, stay local and you even have the option of covering the processing fee so that your whole donation may go towards United Way agency programs versus United Way picking up the fee. This is a great option for those who may have retired and were used to payroll deduction or those who do not have regularly scheduled hours.
