Watertown Area United Way Board of Directors has decided to bring back the Black Out period for the Fall of 2022. Agencies are expected to NOT fundraise during the Black Out Period (Sept. 1st - Oct. 31st) and help advocate for the United Way campaign. If your organization is picked as the recipient for a fundraiser, then you must ask United Way for approval first before accepting to be the recipient. You must explain the situation, the fundraiser, and how the donor/event came to you. United Way agencies are expected to be present at the campaign Kick-off, Wrap-up, Recognition Celebration, and any other additional agency meetings.
