Happy #GivingTuesday! If you have never heard of #GivingTuesday learn more at Home - GivingTuesday. If you would like to learn more about South Dakota's own Giving Day, please visit South Dakota Gives. If you make a donation of $25 or more that night OR drop off a pledge card , then you can spin the wheel for small prizes and get into the drawing for a prize package giveaway sponsored by Dakota Sioux Casino. The package includes one night stay, food vouchers, drink tickets, and slot play. Thank you to Dakota Sioux Casino for gifting the prize! Other small prizes include gift cards/coupons from businesses, United Way gear, Imagination Library books, and more.
Throughout the night there will be over door prizes given out to attendees starting at 4pm until 7pm. There will be exclusive "I Gave" or "I Volunteer" stickers to wear and celebrate those who go above and beyond that night. To raise awareness before and on that night use the hashtags #forWTN and #WTNGIVES as you prepare for the night or while you attend. Be sure to follow all your favorite nonprofits on social media and even share their posts leading up to and on #GivingTuesday. When you follow, share, and like nonprofits social media you are making a difference! The more engagement means the more people can organically learn about our mission.
